Author’s note: When Belle falls into a coma after her accident with Brady on the train tracks, Shawn comforts Marlena by relaying a story to her to demonstrate Belle’s strength of will and determination: “She was strong then, and she’s strong now. If anybody can pull through this, it’s Belle.” This is my take on that little anecdote.
